Check the version number on the box or on the back of the monitor. If it starts with "GSM" followed by 3 digits then you have an S-IPS panel and you have won the "HP lottery". Otherwise you end up with an MVA panel, which is good but not as color accurate as IPS. I received mine on June 3rd 2008 and got the "GSM002" version so they are still there. After calibrating with my Spyder3Elite, the color and clarity of this thing is on par with monitors that cost 2-3x the price. I couldn't be happier. From what I've read on the forums recently, most 2065s seem to be IPS panels these days. So if you decide to place an order, good luck!
