Well first off I know they seem expensive. I understand. I thought so too until I started trying to replicate all of their features. I had a whole list of materials to attach directly to the table, choose the right height, easily and accurately adjust the lighting settings, and so on. The final price was lower than the cost of these. So I bought two of these instead of trying to put together a proper rig with a few other items and I'm so glad I did. Two of them were unpacked, assembled, powered and configured in less time than it would have taken to install one had I gone the other way. I don't have to set it up that often, but doing it from the taskbar is a very nice feature. I am a streamer on Youtube and Twitch. I'm nowhere near a "professional" at these things, but I still consider myself a professional and expect to be a professional. If you want something cheaper because you're doing the same thing and are just starting out, that's fine. Buy something cheaper. I did the same. But during this time of my endeavors I felt like I needed more professional grade gear and for me it's worth more than what I ended up paying for. Make sure you have integration settings and then can manage them from StreamDeck. You can change a lot of variables with it, but for me it was as easy as pressing a button to turn the smart lights in my room off and on again so I could get started.
