I needed a collared black shirt for my 12 year old son for a performance at school. The price was right and it did its job, but I wouldn't buy more to get the shirt into the regular rotation. I found the material of the shirt to be quite thin for what I would expect from polo shirts. This is a shirt that I feel needs to be layered as it is almost see-through. I bought it XXL (11-12) because XXXL (12-13) was not in stock at the time. XXL was too big for him so it definitely looks big. It has shrunk to a more manageable size in the wash, but I'm glad I didn't order a larger size. He is of average height, he is 12 years old. It creases quite easily and the collar puckers in the dryer so it needs to be ironed to give it a ruched look.
