Don't believe every review!

Treat every review with a grain of salt that only a small percentage of people actually take the time to write reviews so you usually end up with extremes, both good and bad. Pros: - Superb image quality - Realistic fluidity in games and movies - Fantastic app support with fast loading of any app - Impressive usability Cons: - Not yet My Q80T arrived today in pristine packaging and packaging. Unpacking is easy and the instructions are on the top of the box lid. The stand was quick to set up and within 10 minutes the TV was connected to the network and set up. I bought this TV with the intention of using it to watch family movies and the new Playstation 5. I haven't unboxed the PS5 yet, so this review was created using PS4 gameplay that has been excellent so far. I upgraded from a 4 year old Vizio. The M series is 55 inches (the most recent model with HDR) and wow that's a huge upgrade. This is my first $600 TV I've bought and wow what a difference. The Q80T powers on and loads apps at lightning speed compared to the Vizio, which struggled. The app choice won the woman over with built-in installability for HBO Max, Funimation, Disney+, Pandora, and all the other favorites. I don't know of any other TV that supports one of them yet. We have a TV connected to a Samsung RX-V385 receiver with 5.1 audio via HDMI 3 (ARC). Quickly turn on eARC on the receiver and TV and the entire system was put together with the most amazing quality of reaction from a 10 year old to Loa I've ever heard. The remote control is very basic and may not even have some intuitive buttons, but is very quick and easy to learn. Regarding the reviews, I was skeptical about the Q80T after reading about issues with rainbow waves in the filter, panel and quality control issues, and darkroom issues. My surprise with this TV was amplified after watching some dark and harsh movies in a pitch black room with no backlight and amazing contrast and colour. My only comment: don't believe every bad review and try the Q80T before you listen to everyone else.
