Review on πŸ‚ GARDEASE ReLeaf Leaf Scoops: Efficient and Ergonomic Handheld Rakes for Quick Leaf and Lawn Grass Removal by Shane Loredo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ergonomically better, but not optimal for picking up small pieces

Over the years we've purchased three types of leaf scoops: 1. Bond 15 at W Leaf Scoop $9,992. Eastrans Large Leaf Shovel and Hand Rake Claw $21,953. Gardease ReLeaf Leaf Scoops $24.95 The last two are very new. We have a large number of trees and produce over 100 large bags of foliage per year. My husband and I work together so having two sets of scopes made sense when we ordered the last two sets. Here's our opinion: 1. Bond 15 Scoops were our first and have served us well for about 5 years. They definitely hit with their hands or with their hands and a rake. The plastic on the handles has cracked over time so it's time for a replacement. Shovels were in demand last fall and it took time to find new ones.2. Eastran's Big Leaf Scoops are strong and can hold more than a Bond scoop. They have a flat bottom edge that allows you to hold a spoon and gently pick up small pieces with a broom. The downside to this shovel, in our opinion, is that it's not the best in terms of ergonomics - we found the plastic to dig into the wrists a bit when carrying heavy loads. They are very comfortable when only used individually and are about 5 inches longer so you don't have to bend down as much to pick up the stuff.3. The Gardease ReLeaf Leaf Scoops are well designed and the most comfortable ergonomically. They can wear about the same as the eastern ones, but they are more convenient to work with. The only downside to the Gardease shovel is that its bottom edge is serrated, making it unsuitable for picking up small particles on concrete with a broom. Take care of the little things, get Gardease. If you mainly collect material on concrete, we recommend Eastrans.
