So far, so good! (Updated)

Update 5-16-18: It's been about 4-5 months and my chair is losing 2 felts. I eat in this chair 2 times a day, so once in, once out, and that's it - twice a day. I knew they wouldn't last forever, but I was hoping for more time. My floor is smooth, 1 foot square tiles rounded to a 1/4" grout line, about 10 years old, so well worn. There really isn't anything for the felt to catch on, so I don't think there's a reason "They come off so easily. These didn't last longer than a felt stick, but cost a lot more and forced me to drill huge holes in chair legs. Not good. I'm deducting a star for that.--- ------ - Original review: -------------------- So far, so good!Advantages: *Easy to assemble.Drill hole, insert dowel, screw in foot, attach felt gliders.* Through the adjustable length of the screws allows you to level uneven chairs by simply unscrewing the short leg a little more Just add felt to your feet as you normally would * Feels durable People over 200lbs have had no issues so far sat in these chairs (only used them for about 2-3 weeks, so the Time will tell.) * The included felt pads are nice and thick so should last a long time. Light gray color is not so noticeable. They glide fairly well on tiles. Cons: * The drill size is hard to find. Why the heck they chose such an unusual drill size is beyond me. I have a TON of drill bit sets and had to go to a 30 year old set to even find that particular drill bit. It's just stupid. *Most of these plastic, i.e. "still" comments are a real problem over time. * The required drill is quite bulky, so you need to use fairly thick and strong legs, otherwise there is a risk of undermining it. them.* They don't pivot, so there's no room for error other than the flexibility of the felt pads. My legs are slightly bent when coming up so you need to make sure the drill bit goes straight into the ground and not the corner of the legs so it sits flat when you stand up. (I taped the drill to make sure I didn't go too deep). Overall I like it so far and if it holds up, cheers! Over time I will need to purchase replacement felt materials but they are quite thick and hopefully won't tear anytime soon. Note: They raise the height of the chairs a bit, so if you're sitting low that's an advantage, but if you're barely clearing the table it will raise you 1/3-1/. At least 2 inches. It doesn't seem like anything, but we felt it when we first sat down.
