The strap over the radio should hold her, not the tightness of the bag. To be honest he's so tense I'm afraid he might press one of the side buttons on the radio. Speaking of the strap that holds the radio in place, the design has another downside: the strap attaches to the inside of the case and makes it much more difficult to insert the radio with a belt clip, as the belt clip will snag on the strap. So you need to keep the tight elastic band open and get the strap out of the way when inserting the radio; preferably in 3 hands. I will return the item and try something else.
