I bought it for a new car and it looked very cool. After a few months I noticed a lot of dirt and grime had built up, so I removed it and brushed it with a toothbrush with soap and water. Today I noticed that it has gotten worse over the winter. Road salt is used in my state so I was very unhappy to see the rust and discoloration of the frame. I washed it again today and you can see the silver plating is ruined and looks awful. Rust is starting to show and I'll end up throwing it away when I find a new cymbal holder. It was on my rear bumper so all it got was water, snow and road dirt. If you live in a state with no snow I wouldn't recommend it.
