CHECK YOUR VEHICLE VIN NUMBER

This review is NOT of the product (because I have not tried it) but of the information available. I have a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche. My truck doesn't have and didn't have a cabin filter. YOU MUST use VIN (driver's side windshield), not the vehicle number. Some clearly have it, some don't, even in the same year. I opened mine, looked and it was clear there was no filter. So I called my local dealer. He entered the VIN number and confirmed it wasn't built with it. So there are two different systems under the dashboard. BTW it was easy to open under those 3 screws and it was wide open.

Pros
  • Removes and filters 99.5% of dust particles, pollen, air pollution, allergens, pet hair and other pollutants from the outside air before they reach the vehicle interior.
Cons
  • Protection
