I set this trap near the turtle pond in my backyard. This area of my garden has the most mosquitoes. I turned it on at night and sat back in my chair with a six pack abs and waited for the redneck's nightly entertainment. I turned off all the lights in the yard and house and waited. And waited. And waited. No cracking or popping. I figured a bug must have accidentally flown in at the end. Frustrated, I went to bed and left the zapper for the night. The next day I checked it and it showed absolutely no sign of a single bug being cleared! I returned it and bought a Flowtron 1/2 acre separator. It doesn't cost much more than this and it works great!
