The lugs supplied with the clamps are a larger diameter (greater than 6 gauge minimum) so the lugs had to be pre-crimped halfway to make them small enough diameter to fit my 6 gauge crimping machine. Also, be sure to pass the wire through one of the sleeve handles before connecting the crimped lug to the terminal.
