No specific guide on best spring installation. The ventilation itself is good, the springs flex easily and it seemed to flex when I put them on top of each other. After spending a lot of time installing the springs, they still had some play and weren't very reliable. I chose to wrap the wire to make sure the vent doesn't fall off as I drive down the road.
