LG part number 27MD5KB-B is a revised version that works perfectly!

PLEASE READ THIS. And make sure you buy part number 27MD5KB-B and not 27MD5KA-B. The LG 27MD5KA-B version is the original hardware version that people had problems with. Part number 27MD5KB-B is an updated hardware version. This is a reliable, beautiful, clear and very professional display that works flawlessly. If you are considering the Dell UltraFine 5k, read the information first. The reviews I've read unanimously agree that LG is better. I spend time with CG applications like Flame, Nuke, Modo etc and the quality of this monitor is amazing to work with. Also, I spend time working with text editors like Sublime Text while programming in Python or Javascript. I also leave the terminal floating on my desktop while navigating tabs while managing or debugging remote Linux servers. Everything looks incredibly sharp and clean on this display. In my humble opinion, it doesn't matter if you're an artist, developer, system administrator, or someone who wants their desktop display to have the same high quality 220ppi as a Retina iMac or MacBook Pro, this display has a lot to offer offer offer. offer for everyone. When I use it with my late 2017 15-inch MacBook Pro, I connect it with the included LG Thunderbolt 3 cable, which serves three purposes: provides a connection to the graphics display, charges my MBP, and allows me to use the USB -C hubs on the back. Display for further device connections. I haven't tried using this display on Linux or Windows 10, but there are blogs out there that tell you how to get it working if you have a motherboard with a physical internal Thunderbolt connection and BIOS support and a PCIe -Card like that have Asus Thunderbolt3EX.
