This is a fantastic value for a fairly accurate field monitor, you don't need an aperture to see exposure clearly and focus even on a flat log image. The LUT's SD card reader is very handy, making it easy to load into the monitor, and the dual battery capability comes in handy when you have long days of shooting and don't want to worry about battery life. I'm estimating that the NP-F970 lasts 3.5 hours at full brightness, but be aware that charging it with two NP-F970s will overload the display's side mount. The mounts are basically brass threads glued to one half of the plastic case, so it's incredibly brittle and cracked after a day of shooting and I had to use the other side of the monitor for the mount. I suggest either using two lightweight batteries if using this on a handheld camera, or using multiple mounting points to spread the load. 2xNP-F970 and installation as shown in the product photos will crack the side bracket.TLDR; This is fantastic value for money for a monitor with a very bright field, no problem for those who shoot outdoors and need something light and big. Just be careful not to damage the plastic attachment points by overstressing.
