Pros
- Huge margin of brightness. Good color reproduction and viewing angles. A lot of useful chips for comfortable control of the picture. There are physical buttons on which you can hang the requested functions. Most importantly, you can clearly see the real picture that the camera produces, and not that petty misunderstanding that is displayed on the built-in monitor. You can install two batteries at once. There is an HDMI output that allows you to connect another image output device in a chain.
Cons
- Heavy on its own, but with a battery even more so. Turning on and off by holding the power button for a long time, I think that for this there should be just an ON / OFF switch. It is not thinly framed, it feels like it could be much more compact while maintaining the same diagonal, in the era of tablets and frameless TVs, more like a solid dinosaur. HDMI output and input from the bottom of the case, i. E. every time you need to sharply change the angle of inclination, your wiring will cling to the frame, and if the plug is larger, it will not let you turn it at all, it was enough just to drown the sockets deeper into the case. After each turn on, it sets the brightness to maximum. The screen is glossy, although the brightness is in excess. The touch display is redundant as a functional, in any case, it does not support focusing on a point, and having on board 3 buttons programmable for various functions, and even more so. There are fastening threads, left and right, but the lateral fracture load is quite strong, especially with a 970 battery, it was still worth making a frame holding the monitor on both sides. The thread in the center from the bottom does not allow for a normal weight distribution, the monitor will peck towards the lens. There is no built-in switchable speaker, only a headphone output and that one on the side near the mount under the frame. The HDMI connector noticeably heats up after prolonged use.
