This is a great monitor if you don't have the money for Atmos. I was shooting outside with no clouds in 35 degree weather at noon and could see my client clearly. I didn't load any LUTS in it because I have a LUT on BMPCC4K. Battery life with NP-F970 can last about 5-8 hours. If you carry two, it can easily last 10-15 hours. I don't think the automatic light sensor is that great, but you can still increase the brightness. It is very light and the weight is only due to the battery. It has two slots for HDMI connectors and two slots for batteries. They can also supply power to or from it. I do not recommend doing this with BMPCC4K as others have indicated that output/input variability can potentially damage your camera. So I would have one battery for the monitor and one for the camera. Overall a great monitor for beginners.
