Time runs backwards!

This was easy to install and assemble. And then time started to run backwards. Serious. Hands move counterclockwise. I did some research and found that there is such a thing as a watch back, but neither the product description nor the packaging says that this product is a watch back. I'm not sure if it was mixed up somewhere on the production or packaging line, or just wasn't assembled properly.
