I have used this for sanding outdoor concrete kitchen worktops. I used them on an orbital sander and used a sponge to add water as I went. It was'nt easy. The 8000 psi countertop mix is pretty hard as a nail and I spent hours at 50 grit to get the coat I wanted. The pads held up pretty well and I didn't completely use up the sand on any of the pads. I bought an extra 50 grit because the felt on the back started to peel off after a few hours of use. 50 grit will withstand most abuse.
