I put my camera on a shelf in the overhead cabinet but it fell over a few times (and still works great). This pivoting mount allowed me to place the camera exactly where I needed it, even slightly higher. Installation was quick and painless and now my camera is securely attached at an even better angle and I can move it to another location in a split second without having to patch any holes!
