Review on πŸš— Enhance Your Car Stereo: SiriusXM FMDA25 Direct Adapter by Patrick Stowers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I wish I had known that a long time ago.

I have had an XM FM module in my car for a number of years. My original unit put out an FM signal sufficient to play the car stereo; I found a station that usually worked and just got used to it, the sound wasn't very good and a bit static and I had to look for other stations when I went to different places (even different areas). cities). My old block died and the new one barely caught on the radio so I searched and found this adapter. I'm amazed at how clean the signal is - I forgot XM was supposed to have high sound quality - and I'm very glad it stays that way and isn't interrupted by random hiss or other FM stations when switching. areas. It was also pretty easy to install. Unless otherwise stated in the description, a radio with direct audio input is not required. Basically it's a relay that connects to the antenna cable (using standard, easy-to-connect connectors). When the XM unit is on, your car stereo will still receive an FM signal, but it will come directly from your XM unit and will not compete with the RM broadcast; When the XM unit is off, it will switch to transmitting from your antenna. Make sure your XM device has an "FM Out" jack.
