Runs a little big but my son will grow up in it. The boots have a strap to keep them from slipping. Shoes do not slip, which is necessary for water-related activities. I was generally happy with the purchase. The only downside or suggestion is that the velcro needs to be a bit tighter to secure the shoes. Otherwise it's a great shoe for the water.
