So I put the cover on and thought everything was great. However, when using the cap and simply holding it to put on and take off the face, the cap moves slightly. Not too much of a problem when I thought about it, I've always moved it slightly so it doesn't obscure the cameras etc. So now I just removed it. You really don't need a lid. My VR just sits on my face or in a charging station.
