I've had this arm for about a week now and it's holding up very well. I recently bought an AOC 35-inch ultra-wide monitor that weighs about 26 pounds, and the stand took up a lot of desk space that I didn't want to lose, so I groped for an arm or another bracket checked. Most of them have an upper weight limit of 20 pounds or so and even without the kickstand my ultrawide weighs more. Another reviewer said it doesn't hold up well to its heavier Ultrawide, but it definitely doesn't. I needed to reduce tension on the arm I have a fairly basic desk that I bought from Staples a while ago and I would be concerned about the desk's structural integrity if I used my arm in a more extended position, but so long my monitor is close enough to the table. post, it's ok. I wouldn't have a problem with a stronger table. Somewhere in the description or instructions it says compatible with approx 27" monitors but I can confirm there are no issues with a 35" ultra wide monitor. Very solid construction and I would recommend it to anyone with a larger/heavier one Recommend monitor.
