I was trying to find something nice for my son to wear to see The Nutcracker at the Lincoln Center in NYC, and my friend recommended this suit, which her son had worn to a wedding. I was really nervous about buying a suit for a child online, but I went ahead and figured I'd have time to look for a backup if it didn't work out. I was SHOCKED by how nice this suit was. It arrived in a nice zippered bag, and although some reviews said they received a necktie, ours came with a black bowtie. The material is high quality and feels like something that would cost 2-3 times more in a department store. I purchased a holiday bowtie that perfectly matched the lining of the suit jacket. My 4 y/o son is tall and fairly thin at 43 lbs and normally wears a 5/5T. I purchased the size 5 suit and it fit him really well, especially the jacket. The pants were a bit loose but had adjustable tabs on the inside to make the waist smaller. We were able to make the pants tight enough that we didn't bother with suspenders, although his shirt came untucked a couple times (but that is probably more to him jumping around than the pants falling down). He looked INCREDIBLE and I was so proud of him. Many people complimented how nice he looked. I would highly recommend this suit to anyone. It's an economical suit for a child with the bonus that you don't have to drag them around to store after store hoping for a nice fit in the size and color you want.
