Review on Perler Beads Carry Craft Activity by Denise Davis

Despite mixed reviews I ordered this because it's a great concept. My 5 year old loves Perler but doesn't always complete a project in one sitting so after a few glitches with Perler I found this case study. I really wanted to love it but DON'T BUY it! As others have said, the little compartments that contain the beads are almost impossible to open. My 5 year old had absolutely no opportunity to do it on his own. And even when I did it was incredibly difficult and even painful for my fingers. When I opened one of them, I actually managed to kind of cut my finger and bleed! Ridiculous. Also, the two templates that come with it are great, but there are only two! I tried printing some out from the computer but the pin holes didn't match the pattern which was very frustrating for my son. While it's a great idea in theory, I would never buy it again and most likely never use it in my house.
