The large hole that goes over the carburetor stud has been misaligned. My impression is that most of them probably do, but there is poor quality control. Expanded the hole with a drill, the metal is soft. When I put it on the stud, the other smaller hole didn't line up with the hole in the carburetor. I was about to expand this as well when I noticed that the hex bolt intended for the second hole was too long to fit in the hole due to the connection above the hole. The screw should be about half that length. With so little attention to detail and soft metal, there's no way I can trust this thing to get my gas back. Just buy a recoil spring kit from Moroso. It's more expensive, but not as expensive as buying this and then Moroso.
