Background: My standard match ball is a Bridgestone B330 RXS. This is after playing Pro-V1. My current index is 9.3. As I got older and my swing speed slowed, I decided to experiment with different types of golf balls during practice rounds, usually the 'once lost' variety, just to see what's out there. After finding some Q-Stars and Z-Stars I thought they were good balls. Which brings us to this Q-Star Tour. "Tour" is softer than the regular Q-Star. It has a slightly "softer" feel than the Bridgestone mentioned above. The distance seems about the same, but the sensations are not as sharp and accurate. However, the tour is VERY durable. I played 18 holes with a ball and there is no mark anywhere on the lid. (Obviously none of the cart tracks were hit.) I really think it's a decent play ball that suits those who don't want to shell out $45 for a dozen other balls and whose spin rate isn't any faster than Tour pros. It bit our greens well and didn't have the click of a cheap rock ball. They are worth trying.
