SRICKSON winner! fits standard balls

Tried these balls after seeing their high ratings in Golf Digest. They are just as good as the Pro V1 and the review showed them too. Try her. These are the first SRIXON balls I have bought in over 40 years of golfing.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Great golf ball!

I think this is the best ball for the money especially if you have a moderate swing speed. I consider it the equivalent of the Bridgestone B330 RX. It feels soft when put on and takes a long time to remove from the tee. I have a handicap of 7 and it's perfect for my game.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some issues

Found my balls! for Standard Balls

I've always loved trying something different than what everyone is playing. So, I've been looking for a ball that can be compared to Pro v1. Good I found it. Distance, control, rotation and above all FEELING. And that ball costs half a champion.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Seniors

Width with good playability

I am now a senior player with a single-digit handicap. My number one priority these days is distance. Second, playability. I like the Srixon Q-Star Tour because it gives me more distance but I have enough spin to keep the shot on the turf. It's not as smooth as say the Pro V1, but for the price and overall performance I like it and would recommend it.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

5 stars for the price

These budget balls perform about the same as the Bridgestone RX but are $10 less per dozen. I use them as an everyday ball and use the Bridgestone RX for tournament play. The differences are minor as the RX feels a little softer off the racket, checks a little quicker and is a little more reliable. These slight differences aren't enough to justify nearly $1 a ball.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Expandable

Amazing ball at a reasonable price

I used to play Q-Star and decided to try a dozen of them. Now switched to touring. Still rides great, high and straight, not much different than the original Q-Star (my racquet speed is around 98-102 mph). I've felt the biggest difference in the short game and out of the racquet, feels a little softer and has a little more grip, feels great. Overall a great ball for the price.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Best Balls for the Money

I have been playing golf for over 30 years, have played a lot of balls and my favorite is the Titleist Prov1. My daughter is now on the high school golf team and she loves the games too, but I didn't want to spend $50 a dozen on golf balls during the season. I've looked around, tried them, me too, and can't believe how good this ball is worth the price. You can sometimes buy them for $24.99 and I think it's worth it. Green spin, great feel, as close to a Prov1 as I could find for the price…

  • Continuous Test Results

Good ball with feeling.

Background: My standard match ball is a Bridgestone B330 RXS. This is after playing Pro-V1. My current index is 9.3. As I got older and my swing speed slowed, I decided to experiment with different types of golf balls during practice rounds, usually the 'once lost' variety, just to see what's out there. After finding some Q-Stars and Z-Stars I thought they were good balls. Which brings us to this Q-Star Tour. "Tour" is softer than the regular Q-Star. It has a slightly "softer" feel than the…
