Review on πŸš— Porsche Macan Weatherproof Floor Mats by Jesse Blair

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Anyone who owns a Porsche can afford it. Highly recommended!

So my review is about these all weather floor mats for the Porsche Macan. I usually buy OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products when it comes to things like this. I am delighted with the design, look, fit and overall construction of these rugs. Yes they were expensive to buy but trust me it will save you some detail on your carpet from time to time. I have used CANNON brand rugs in the past (not sure if they are still in production) and they can still be found online. These were the BEST mats I have ever bought as they hold half a liter of liquid or wet snow. There are other brands that have a laser measurement (WT) system, but I trust the car manufacturer's original floor mats. If a manufacturer has built a car, they can certainly make floor mats. The mats should also be clipped from this hook as they are all held together, if you move the hook back and forth they will all come loose one at a time. Use kitchen scissors or a very sharp blade to carefully cut through the center joints. The instructions say you have to remove the original carpets to fit through the plastic plug, but I put them on top of the carpet mats and they're fine. I'm not sure if they can keep the liquid level but they have to check it someday. One last thing, if you're thinking of getting a rear cargo liner, don't buy the OEM as it will cost you another $150. Get one online elsewhere for about $80. I found a great rubber version on ebay that works just as well. Make sure it's rubber and not plastic, there is a difference in flexibility and look/feel. The 1 year update is for those of you who just want to save some cash on standard floor mats if you are a Macan. If you didn't bring them or got them dirty, here are the original Audi Q5 floor mats perfect for a Macan without the Audi logo. Most Macan owners know that it is built on the Audi Q5 platform. At the same time, the floor mats for the Q5 are identical to those of the Macan. Keep in mind that I still have the standard Porsche floor mats, but I'd rather get the Audi Q5 version dirty first and then use the Porsche :) The Audi floor mats have no logo and are blank, but you can from the rear you clearly see that they are. I'll take a picture one day to show.
