The bag is ok but part of the reason I bought it, apart from the sale/coupon price, was because it was supposed to be hand- and left-handed interchangeable is. Of course, to switch from one to the other, just unclip the end of the strap on the other side of the bag, but the problem is with the strap. The strap itself has a distinctive curve, so for right-handed people it curves nicely towards the wearer, however, if you switch to left-handed, the strap (which is the top part of the bag and doesn't come loose) curves in the other way away from that built-in curve and thus prevents it from bending and fitting snugly to the wearer, cutting into the neck and/or creating a bulge/bulge. If the strap was straight it would probably be a little better. I like the bag - it does the job, I just have to carry it with my right hand.
