Oh, what a beauty, isn't it?. Big, tough, cool features, durable and ready for battle. nope It is not. professional?!? HA! Try laughing. Appropriate weekend warrior? Hardly. First, it's poorly designed. The inclinometer fell apart on first use, literally fell off immediately. Then the lid hinge failed. And why would anyone in their right mind tie a lanyard to a lock?! The compass requires an almost perfectly level plane to function properly. Here you do not have to quickly measure the bearing. The thing is ridiculously heavy too. I cannot recommend this toy. If you use a compass for primary or secondary navigation and depend on it, do yourself a favor and buy a real one, not a fake one.
