These tweezers are incredibly sharp. I recommend keeping the protective plastic caps that come with each tweezers so you can keep the tweezers closed when not in use. I didn't save on the plastic caps, which I now regret. I jabbed my fingers with it, just treated them normally, and the injections hurt. It's like stabbing yourself with a knife. If you want to get them for eyebrow grooming, look elsewhere. They're so sharp it's too dangerous to use near your eyes. If you think of them for first aid, they're probably good for picking up splinters. However, you must use them very carefully so as not to accidentally hit yourself or your companion with a fragment. I bought them for perhaps an unusual purpose: getting food out of my dishwasher's spray arms. Sprinklers get clogged with little things like cucumber seeds and the like. These tweezers are ideal for this. The extra fine tip penetrates tiny holes and the grip is pretty good. Don't use them near your eyes! Keep the supplied plastic caps!
