Review on 22733524 GM Genuine Parts Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob with 5 Buttons by Alan Estell

I bought two of these for my '08 Buick LaCrosse. Went to my local locksmith who programmed them. They work great. Update/Edit: Okay - needed more testing - although the emergency and outside line buttons worked - the lock/unlock buttons don't work. Downgraded to 3 stars because, while it works, the buttons are pressed too lightly, increasing the chances of inadvertently pressing the buttons. One comment relates to the second set of replacement key fobs I bought (the first set from a different seller). However, this set has the same problem as the first replacement set - the buttons are much easier to press than the original, it's easy to set the alarm unintentionally (frustrating). Solution! - Carefully open the key fob as if to change batteries - *careful* This is a key as the battery holder on the circuit board can be fragile. Remove / set aside the internal circuit board. Do the same with your original key fob (that came with the car) and insert the *new* circuit board into the *old* key fob. The result: a working keychain with original buttons that are harder to press! Very happy with this decision.
