Don't waste your money, get Acdelco brand products

If you're reading this, welcome. Yes, it's cheaper, but save yourself the headache and wasted programming money. They work, but intermittently, unreliably. I had to dispose of them. The rule here is: pay cheap, pay twice

Perfect replacement for a worn out block

Perfect replacement for a worn out block! We paid $35 to program the machine to use this FOB (from an available locksmith) and it is exactly the same as the original 2009 Malibu FOB. I am very glad I got this one , and not a cheap fake, even the locksmith was impressed.

Excellent service and product, will buy again.

Went to the dealer to get it programmed and it runs like a champ. The retailer wanted $151 for the same item. This seller is great value for money and thank you for helping me determine if it will work on my car before I bought it. Definitely a customer for life. Thanks again.

Back to Convenience

My car originally had two key fobs. One only worked to open the trunk, the other left when the car was stolen and never returned when the car was found. I even managed to program this new one for free at the dealer, but I don't think that's the norm. At least I don't have to fiddle around with the key in the lock anymore!

Very happy with interior

Looks like an exact GM replacement part at a very reasonable price. All my local GM dealers wanted $124 for the same thing. . I needed it after buying a used car in 2009 with a working remote control. My dealer programmed it onto the car in minutes for free. Note: If you use more than one remote control (or keep a spare remote control) and want to buy a new one, the old ones must be reprogrammed at the same time as the new one so that they all have the same code. This is a simple procedure for…

New trick: use in an old key fob

I bought two of these for my '08 Buick LaCrosse. Went to my local locksmith who programmed them. They work great. Update/Edit: Okay - needed more testing - although the emergency and outside line buttons worked - the lock/unlock buttons don't work. Downgraded to 3 stars because, while it works, the buttons are pressed too lightly, increasing the chances of inadvertently pressing the buttons. One comment relates to the second set of replacement key fobs I bought (the first set from a different…
