This product provided a cost effective alternative to my lack of space between the back of my dryer and the wall. Installation was easy, everything fit perfectly. However, I could see a big potential problem. If you don't do a little research on this product. The instructions are not complete or detailed, so you may not know how to cut an existing spout so the vent is flush with the wall (cut the spout 1" from the wall, then cut the remaining spout every 1" towards the wall, fold back these 1" sections, and voila, you have a flat surface to place the product on). Thank you to those of you who wrote about it in your reviews! I wouldn't know how to do this without you.
