The good thing about this speaker is that it fits my laptop very snugly. There are many controls at the top. Volume, On/Off and some others. The quality of the speaker is much better than that of a laptop. By adjusting the volume on the laptop and speaker, I was able to find the right tone to my liking. If a person does not want to use a speaker connected to a laptop, the speaker stands separately. The instructions are supplied in English and two other languages. Two cables included. Negative Feedback: There was no cover in the kit. One of the wires in the kit is defective or the connector on the speaker is defective. The other cable could be connected to the laptop, so I'm not worried about how it works. It would be nice if the second hook worked as a backup. For the price I live with a defect, there is no coverage. Again, given the money spent and the hassle of returning it, a suitcase is not a must. I would recommend an acoustic unit. This solved my problem with my laptop. It was important. Little things were such little things. For the money spent. I am very happy with the speaker. The delivery time was too long. I don't think Prime would help.
