8 seconds. That's all it took for my dog to have this thing off and shredded. I admit I was surprised. So, if your dog has teeth (secondary) or claws and is anything north of sedentary, this may not work for your dog. On the bright side, it was nicely adjustable (which is likely the biggest problem for my dog, as it gives him something to get his claws on), and was easy for me to get on (and for him to get off). I would believe it was comfortable, but didn't really have a chance to ask my dog about that. When I went to try the second one, he just gave me a puzzled look and upon reflection, he was right. There really was no point in trying it a second time, so I'll see if I can find another snout mitt that will work for him. For docile (or heavily sedated) dogs, this may work nicely.
