If you are interested in learning Tunisian crochet but not sure you will enjoy it, then this is the perfect kit! It has the quality finish of a complete Denise set without the price tag or a huge set of hooks you may never need or use. I wanted to learn Tunisian crochet but previous attempts led me to believe I wouldn't like it. Also, most of the yarns I use require larger hooks, not smaller hooks, so there's no point in getting a huge set with lots of hooks that I wouldn't use. I appreciate Denise acknowledging this issue and providing an introductory way to learn Tunisian crochet using tools that Tunisian crocheters love. I originally found out about TL Yarn Crafts on YouTube from Denise and trust her opinion. She was so right about those hooks! I love them and I think I love Tunisian crochet more because of these crochet ones. They're slim, well designed for this technique and the entire kit is compatible with other Denise cables and kits, making it incredibly versatile and great value. I'm so glad I gave them a chance.
