Review on πŸ’ͺ The Ultimate Choice: TheraBand Blue for Unparalleled Strength and Flexibility by Jonathan Yang

Best band money can buy (but be careful!)

I bought this band after my PT recommended it to me. I've tried other tapes that have been fine. I wasn't impressed with this material until I tried this tape. It's very flexible and will do almost anything you want. I use it to help with chronic ankle sprains and love it. But I ended up using it for other purposes as well, and I now consider it a staple in my first aid kit. I wore the wrong sandals once and ended up getting crazy blisters on my feet. I still had work to do so I had to figure out how to protect the blisters while still being able to walk. The bandages roll and move, and the blister gets worse. So I covered the bubble with petroleum jelly and then applied some short strips of duct tape to completely cover the area. It worked like a charm! The petroleum jelly protected the bubble from the glue, but the tension of the tape held it in place. Healed so quickly! Clay is crazy. It lasts 2 days through the shower. After it's been on your skin for about 30 minutes, your body heat seems to melt it in place. Does not move. It doesn't matter if you wear socks and shoes. Does not move. Be careful when removing the tape! When I first used this tape, I removed it the same way I removed other tapes, I just ripped it off. BAD IDEA WITH THIS TAPE! Just don't break it! I ended up with a HUGE blister covering about 3 square inches of skin because the glue is so strong it separated the layers of skin when I ripped off the tape. It hurt so bad. It was my fault though, so I don't blame the tape. Be careful when losing weight. The best way I've found is to take a shower and then when the tape gets wet start rolling it back up. I usually roll it sticky side out and it comes out clean. Putting my stupidity aside, I highly recommend this tape. It's worth the money.
