
But I will never buy a Luminara candle again, especially tea candles (which really have votive candles). To use the remote control with a Luminara candle, you must put the candle in "timer" mode (not "off" and not "on"). With this setting, the batteries will discharge even if they are not used. Tea lights use expensive CR2450 batteries. I put new batteries in the tealights, set them up to use the remote control and didn't turn them on for 1 week. When I did, the remote turned it on and all 4 started blinking immediately (indicating the battery was low). waste of my money. From now on I buy timer candles with 2 AA batteries, not Luminara.
