When I first put a harness on him he flapped around like a rag doll. Walking cats on a leash, training started as a kitten, is suitable for most cats. I had a Bengal and imagine it might take some time to train him as an adult because he could open doors and closets like Houdini. I got this ragdoll when he was 3 years old and he does a great job with the harness and leash. Some quieter breeds won't bother you much; For example: Ragdolls and snowshoeing Siamese cats have a calm walking temperament. I ordered the large BC, the reviews said the smaller sizes start at ferret or kitten size so I'll take that into account when ordering. My cat isn't "nervous" so he's not trying to wriggle out like a Bengal. Temperament aside, I helped him tie the harness to where he likes to go most, which is outdoors. Every time he tried to run out the door, I would catch him, put on a harness, and take him outside. He saw our dogs go outside on the leash, that helped; he still copies them and knocks on the door when he wants to go for a walk now lol. The second photo is a close-up of a well-made trailer.
