Only used for a week and so far it's really pulling a lot of moisture out of the air. This doesn't surprise me as it is a self-contained refrigerant split system consisting of an evaporator coil, a condenser coil and a compressor. I don't use a hose so I have to empty the reservoir once a night which shows how much water runs out. My bathroom used to be around 74 degrees and 58-62% RH, now it stays at around 76 and 35% RH. Please note that it has gotten a little warmer. The only downside is that the heat from the condenser coil used to heat the cold air leaving the evaporator coil back up to room temperature is sometimes too much, and since my AC sensor isn't in the bathroom and the bathroom is small, the heat coming from the condenser coil is usually too much for the room, causing the temperature in the room to be slightly warmer than the rest of the house. I don't mind that because I like it when it's warm in the mornings and I prefer that it doesn't get moldy. Just an observation I thought I'd share. Also, I noticed that the sensor on the device never matches my hygrometer in the bathroom. Normally the relative humidity difference is 6%, but the room hygrometer always shows that the room is drier than the sensor on the device, which is good. Hope that helps.
