I bought this to replace the R3 factory Uniden mount. I returned this product after a few days of use as it rattles terribly. The rattling occurs when the mounting portion is pushed in to connect with the detector. The connection is not accurate and the detector rattles over bumps and road deviations. Also, the screw used to adjust the angle of the detector does not hold when tightened. I tightened the screw and after about 2 hours of normal diving the angle of the detector shifted and the screw holding it loosened. I have done this several times. This is very bad design.
