I was a little surprised, it came folded square but it unrolled well and had no creases. It was sticky on top which was another problem but once it was washed and I started flouring and rolling out the dough it was all great! The batter didn't stick to it at all and spread very easily. My old rug was plastic and slipped over the counter but this one stays in place. Yesterday I used my pizza wheel to cut the dough and it worked beautifully! This rug is also huge compared to my old one.
