Review on πŸ– Carmel Blue Paint Crayon, 12-Pack: Solid Paint Marker Stick for Multi-Surface, Oil-based Paint Marker by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Black color absorbs light!

I ordered a dozen black crayons because I expected to have several and the price is great. For you artists, this is a VERY flat CARBON BLACK and the opacity is the best of any oil pen I've tried. worked with. Haven't had a chance to test the dry time yet as I haven't gotten to the intended canvas yet, but the information below will help. 1) VERY black, like soot. or darker if possible. 2) The best coverage I've ever seen in an oil stick. 3) VERY flat surface. Absolutely light absorbing. 4) Much creamier than the Markal stick and thinner skin. This may be because they are very fresh, or it could be due to slower drying times. I will try to update later.
