Got this for our cat who was just "fixed" much better than the cone, she is a little cat and the cone confused her more than anything. She didn't like putting the overalls on but once it was on she was calm, she tried not to bite or lick where she had stitches and this seemed to calm her down, we gave her painkillers for the first few days. at home and I'm sure that helped too but the suit allowed her to walk and pee poop eat and drink normally, when we took it off on day 14 she was excited and happy and started to get active. If you have an animal that has had abdominal surgery I would recommend you try this because it is so much better than a cone.
