Update: Support responded to me fairly quickly. This module and containers are obsolete and no longer available. They have replaced the containers as they are still under warranty and supplied a newer version (1 version before the current one) of the portable cordless sealer. I'm really impressed to say the least. Edit: A cap doesn't hold the "Remove to Clean Valve" cap that fits over the part you're vacuuming from on top. I haven't removed it for cleaning that often, but now it definitely won't stay in place. I have contacted the seller but I have little hope of hearing anything soon after the last time I tried to get information from him. I've found containers lose vacuum on a regular basis. This may be user error, but if they're vacuumed with the green 'button' pressed, I expect they'll stay that way overnight. I've also found that it occasionally turns off when the case is in use, although the instructions clearly state to turn off the device yourself. When they work, they really extend the life of the products. If they don't, it's like any other container. Disappointed with the durability of the containers. Edit: I asked a question on the FoodSaver website myself to see if some of the containers shown would work with this machine. It took them 4 months to tell me that this unit is obsolete and the containers they are selling now will not work. So if you buy this machine and want more containers, please buy multiple machines. I've also found that the question of leaving packages or containers sealed for long periods of time is crap. I suspect it may be user error to ensure they are fully zipped (pockets) or the lids are perfectly aligned. I just find it odd that they initially seal but sometimes lose their seal overnight. I first bought the caulk that came with my old hosed unit. Not only was it terribly slow, I had to pull out my device every time I wanted to close the case again. It wasn't exactly what I intended. I bought this food preservation system because it takes up very little counter space. Now, if I open a bag of celery or brown sugar, for example, I can immediately seal it with very little effort. The two containers that come with the pack make this pack free when you look at the prices. I thought about buying more until I saw their prices. Bags are not exactly cheap, but they are much cheaper. They are easy to clean. I use them in the freezer with mixed results. Sometimes they stay sucked, sometimes not. Just in case I don't wrap meat in plastic! Makes cleaning easier. My only complaint about this device is that it only turns off automatically when using hard plastic containers. You need to determine when to manually turn it off with pouches. I can hear the sound change and visually inspect the bag. My regular vacuum (the one with the canister hose that also works with the small zippered bag attachment) turns itself off but doesn't finish cleaning that quickly. I use it several times a week and have no complaints. . Oh, the lid on the container is very difficult to remove the first time or two. Make sure you set it right when you vacuum or the red light will come on telling you it's taking too long - check the seal!
