This tool fits my vertical grinder but there are many problems when it comes to sharpening knives or similar. The biggest problem is that the grinder vibrates normally, which loosens the set screws on the side. You have to keep stopping to retighten the set screws. Another problem is holding the object you want to sharpen against the sharpener. There's nowhere to securely attach the knife, so it's really freehand sharpening, which isn't the goal here. In any case, this is a cheap tool and I thought it would be good for a quick sharpening, but I was wrong.
