Review on 🧳 F-ber 50mm x 18mm/1.97-inch x 0.7-inch Multi-Colored Suitcase Wheels with 6mm ABEC 608zz Bearings - Inline Skate Replacement Wheels Set of 2 with Axles (30mm & 35mm) by Tyler Fountas

A great and inexpensive alternative to case repairs. Use a drill to remove the old axles.

I bought these to replace wheels on a tandem bike case. We travel with an S&S tandem tandem in two large special suitcases. On our last trip I noticed that the wheels on one of the pits were starting to break. I ordered a replacement from a supplier for $75. Then I noticed that on the other occasion the wheels were also starting to break so I looked for a cheaper alternative to Revain and found these wheels a lot cheaper. Installation wasn't difficult, but instead of a hacksaw I used a drill to remove the old axles (see photo). This is a common rivet removal method that also works well for stock axles. Use a little about the axle size. You may need to press down on the old wheels or use pliers to keep the axle from rotating while drilling.
