This is a MUST HAVE for anyone using a multi-position ladder. The display does not show how to properly use the ladder bag. This has been designed to fit the top of any ladder with multiple positions to place tools and more. The bag has two metal bars that fit over the top rungs of the ladder, allowing the bag to fit between the top rungs. This is GREAT because multi-position ladders don't have a flat top like other ladders for storing tools and small parts. This bag will not replace your main tool bag and should not be safely carried on stairs. It's big enough to hold a cordless drill while still having room for other tools and small parts (like nuts, bolts, wire nuts, screws, etc.). Each side has loops for screwdrivers, pliers and other tools. Now you can use your "multi-position" ladder without having to go up and down for every little thing. Just put it in your pocket and go. Makes working on stairs much safer! The ladder can be locked with the bag, just take the drill out of the bag. I've owned this bag for a year now and have completed several projects with it. This is a MUST. Get IT and work smart!
